1. General Information
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between the purchaser ("Customer", "User", "You") and Boxside Bookings ("We", "Us", "Our"), regarding the purchase of tickets and the use of the Boxside Bookings platform (the "Platform").
Legal Identity:
- Company Name: Boxside Bookings V.Z.W.
- Registered Office: Molseweg 21, 2440 Geel
- Registration Number (BCE/KBO): 0784.311.316
- VAT Number: BE0784.311.316

By purchasing a ticket or using our Platform, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Scope of Service
Boxside Bookings operates a digital ticketing platform that facilitates the sale of entrance tickets for events (concerts, festivals, nightlife, etc.).
Depending on the specific event, Boxside Bookings acts either as:
- The Event Organizer/Promoter directly responsible for the event; or
- The Exclusive Ticketing Agent acting on behalf of a third-party Event Organizer.
In all cases, the Platform is the sole authorized seller for events listed on our website. We manage the content, pricing, and ticket issuance directly.
3. Orders and Contract Conclusion
- Ordering Process: To purchase a ticket, you must select the event, choose the quantity of tickets, and provide the required customer information (Name, Email).
- Payment: You must pay the full amount indicated using the payment methods provided (e.g., Bancontact, Payconiq, Credit Card via Stripe). The contract is concluded only when we receive confirmation of successful payment.
- Order Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will legally receive an order confirmation and the digital tickets via email. If you do not receive this email within 1 hour, it is your responsibility to contact support.
4. Prices and Fees
Transparent Pricing: All prices displayed on the Platform are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
Service Fees: A service/platform fee is charged on top of the ticket face value to cover the costs of the digital infrastructure, payment processing, and support. This fee is clearly itemized before checkout.
Total Cost: The total price (Ticket Face Value + Service Fees) is shown immediately in your cart. There are no hidden fees added at the final payment step.
5. Right of Withdrawal (Exclusion)
Important notice regarding your right of withdrawal:
1. For the Event Ticket (Leisure Service):
Pursuant to Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the Customer DOES NOT have a right of withdrawal (the standard 14-day cooling-off period) for the provision of services related to leisure activities (such as concerts and festivals) if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Therefore, all ticket sales are final. You cannot cancel your order or request a refund simply because you changed your mind or can no longer attend.
2. For the Service/Platform Fee:
Pursuant to Article VI.53, 1° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the Customer expressly acknowledges and accepts that the "Service Fee" covers the service of using the Platform, processing the payment, and generating the digital ticket. This service is considered fully performed immediately upon the confirmation of the order. Consequently, the Customer expressly waives their right of withdrawal regarding this specific service once the contract has been performed.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
1. Event Cancellation
In the event that an event is cancelled by Boxside Bookings or the Event Organizer:
- You will be entitled to a refund of the Ticket Face Value.
- Platform/Service Fees are non-refundable. As per Article 5.2, these fees cover the administrative and technical costs of processing the booking which are services that have already been fully and successfully performed.
2. Rescheduling
If an event is postponed to a new date, your ticket will strictly remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may be eligible for a refund of the Ticket Face Value, subject to the specific policy announced for that rescheduling.
3. Refund Process
Refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method used during purchase.
7. Use of Tickets and Resale Policy
- Personal Use: Tickets are intended for personal use.
- Prohibition on Commercial Resale: You are strictly prohibited from reselling tickets for commercial gain or profit (scalping). If we identify a ticket that has been resold for a higher price than the face value, we reserve the right to cancel the ticket without refund and deny entry to the holder.
- Transfer: You are permitted to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member for non-commercial purposes (e.g., as a gift or reimbursement at face value). The unique QR code on the ticket grants entry to the first person who scans it. It is your responsibility to keep your QR code secure.
8. Admission and Event Conduct
Valid Ticket: Admission is only granted upon presentation of a valid digital ticket (QR code) via a mobile device or printed copy.
One Entry: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, each ticket is valid for one entry only.
House Rules: By attending the event, you agree to abide by the house rules of the venue and the directions of security personnel. Boxside Bookings and the venue management reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any person who violates these rules or engages in dangerous or illegal behavior, without refund.
9. Liability
Platform Availability: We strive to keep the Platform available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime due to maintenance or technical issues. We are not liable for temporary unavailability.
Event Liability:
- If Boxside Bookings is the Organizer: We are liable for the proper execution of the event in accordance with Belgian law.
